Great shot — beautiful and dramatic. But kinda hurts my eyes, owing (I guess) to some residual astigmatism.
Thank you and sorry for hurting your eyes (said with a bit of cheekiness!) This place used to be quite different, older architecture/design. I hadn’t gone to this part of town in a while and when I saw this I was quite surprised. Not sure if I like the new design. The building is a hotel (Renaissance Hotel) and it used to look like this: http://www.devsamaddar.com/six/. The older photo (more than 2 yrs ago) is a bit to the left of the new one (say a month ago), about 10-12 yards. This is exactly why I take photos. I know most people don’t care but I find it incredibly fascinating to see how things and people and places change. Documenting that gives me great satisfaction. I kick myself for not photographing this intersection near our home… it used to be something else and is now a car-wash and I just can’t remember what it used to be!!
