And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. Love the color balances here. It’s also certainly a more fun photo being fuzzy than if it were razor-sharp.
That said, I must admit that I tried and failed to read the background sign by zooming in. So what is the band, and where and when was this taken?
Also love Frost’s reference to “leaves no step had trodden black”. I’ve got a bunch of those very leaves right now in my back yard. On account of being too lazy (so far) to of raked them. (Sorry, I mean “have raked” them.) ≧◔◡◔≦
Thank you for your kind words. You are always so encouraging. Great to have you as a friend.
The photo is not of a real band… I was at the movies with my wife watching La La Land and in the movie there is this band called The Messengers (I think.. I may be wrong) playing music. I liked the colors on screen at one point and thought it would make a nice photo. I wanted to get some of the real audience in the theatre, as opposed to the audience in the film scene who are at the concert, but it was too dark (the foreground blackness). You can see the clip from the movie here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6Vfj1TjMvU
The movie has its flaws that I couldn’t avoid noticing but despite those it was a cute movie. I recommend it.
About your backyard… all I can say is I wish I had that problem. We do have grass and pine trees but they don’t change color. Although I am thankful that it is at least green and not a barren desert.
